In 35 days we leave for our Alaskan cruise! I am so excited as this is a bucket list item for me I plan on taking gobs of pics and we are going to be hiking and doing other fun stuff off the ship! Can't wait!

Well, I am in Hawaii right now and having a wonderful time. The weather's great, the company is great and my granddaughter is AMAZING! I hope to get some pictures up sometime while I'm here. I hope to get some good beach shots.

Is that all people care about as far as my art goes? I mean, I will keep doing foot fetish photos but it seems as if that is all most people on DA care about. I try to take really good photographs but if they are not my feet I don't get the views. Getting a bit frustrated!

We can 't stand to be away from our son and granddaughter so we are going back again real soon. We last saw them at Christmas but the baby is growing up so fast! She will be 18 months old when I get to see her again! I look forward to seeing fireworks on Waikiki Beach and spoiling Ahne rotten! I will be in Hawaii for 10 days. I hope to get some more pictures while over there to post here on DA. I just have not been in a artsy, photo taking kind of mood lately. My depression is lifting slowly so hopefully things will change. Losing 6 family members in 5 years sucks!

They were awesome, awesome, awesome! They played for 3 hours and I could have sat for another 3 listening to them. Bob surprised us with tickets the night before they played. What a great guy!

My step-father passed away on Saturday from pancreatic cancer. I am so glad I was able to be with him for the last month and was with him when he died. Thank you to all who gave me support and said prayers for me and him. My friends are DA are so special!

I am going up to the Northern woods (LOL) for a whole entire month from July 31 to August 30th. One reason is for our 25th class reunion and the other is to help take care of our Step-dad who has pancreatic cancer. He isn't fairing well at all. This may be my last time with him so I need to go. It will be hard to leave my family for so long but I will do okay. I will have to buy some art stuff when I get up there and be sure to take my camera! I will be out in the boonies on a lake and will need things to do. I for sure will be taking my Sims 3 game and Tropico! But most important will be spending time with my dad.

I just re-newed my membership. Not really sure why as I haven't been active at all on here the past 6 months or so and my views have dropped. I know because I stopped doing my foot fetish pics a lot of people quit coming around and I feel bad about that but I will maybe start doing them again, I don't know yet.

I felt like I was in another world there! My favorite thing we did was go snorkeling. I was swimming right next to sea turtles! The water was so blue and clean. I am only posting a few pictures as I have sooo many that I would overwhelm you with them all if I were to post them
Our grandchild was beautiful and so sweet! It was hard to leave and come home. I still feel jet lagged but am slowly recovering. Hope y'all enjoy the few pics I put up

We leave on March 19th for Hawaii and will be there until the 29th! We are going to see our son Robert and our new Granddaughter who was born in December. Of course we will be doing a ton of sight-seeing and we are going snorkeling! We are going to have a field day taking pictures over there. It is going to be simply breathtaking and wonderful! It is exactly the vacation we need to get out of the funk we have been in. Our step-dad was supposed to go with us but his pancreatic cancer has progressed too much that he will not be able to go now. He wanted to go so badly to see his great grandchild and to see his dream vacation.....but it just wasn't meant to be I will be flying to Arizona to be with him (or Minnesota depending if he flies back up there) when I return from my vacation. It might be the last time I see him. Anyhow, he wants us to go on our trip so we're going! And happily at that. I will be posting pictures on here FOR SURE! I know I have been very, very inactive lately and I'm sorry. Hopefully that will change now. I am starting to go back to art and photography again. I just needed to get out of my depression. It's been ages since I've done anything on here and I feel bad about it. I just have felt unmotivated and depressed. I found out my Step-Dad has pancreatic cancer and the tumor is as large as the pancreas itself and the outlook is pretty grim. He has to go through chemotherapy 5 times a week for the next 6-8 months to see if they can shrink the tumor enough to where they can safely try to remove it, if at all. It's right under his aorta, as well which poses a lot of danger to him. I'm so scared and sad right now. I just lost my mom and my closest grandpa last year and have barely gotten over that and now I'm facing losing the one man who made the biggest positive impact in my life ever! He is my real dad to me. He is the one who should have been the birth father. I love him deeply and don't want to lose him. If I lose him I lose all ties to my mom because no one on our moms side of the family keeps in touch with us really and he is the last link to her as far as I am concerned. He was supposed to go to Hawaii with us in March to see his great grandchild which is due any day now and he won't be making that trip now and it saddens us that he won't get to make that trip. It meant so much to him.

I feel like all my creativity has been lost and I feel numb. At art therapy I have been working on a portrait of a womans face for 2 months now and I am nowhere close to being done. My art teacher is working patiently with me. I feel like she has been babysitting me through the whole process. I have never done a painting like this before and I lack total confidence. Right now I just don't feel like I have what it takes to do anything worthwhile to post on here. I'm sorry if I am letting anyone down who cares about what I do. I can't promise that I will post anything soon but maybe after Christmas my mood will improve. Who knows?

I have not been around much on DA lately and I apologize. Life has just been keeping me in a whirlwind! I haven't had much time to think about anything. I have this great art room upstairs and I haven't even really had time to utilize it yet. So many appointments and errands and so forth. I did do a painting today. It's sort of lame but I had a relaxing and enjoyable time doing it and I suppose that is the point, right?! It's the Wizard painting. Now I'm off to take Taylor shopping for this important dance she is in a court for. It's for a Spanish birthday and I don't have any idea how to spell the celebration but anyhow she and her boyfriend are in the court and they need to get his clothes today and she wants to be there to make sure he gets the right stuff to match her dress. Then we are going to see the movie "Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs," which is perfect for todays rainy weather! It's freaking cold out for Texas, too! In the 50's. I know some of y'all laugh at that but it was 103 just the other day. That is a dramatic drop! My blood has thinned out and I have become a wimp!
I will try to get cracking a produce some more art and stuff. I miss everybody on here and since I do have a subby I need to take advantage of it.

Taylor was driving and she only has her permit and the roads were wet and she hydroplaned into a stopped pick up truck and totaled the car. She and Bob are okay.....shaken up and sore is all. The person in the pick up got hurt quite a bit as the truck was literally picked up and lifted back down by our car when they hit.  All in all things will be okay. Looks like we are in the market for a new car.

Setting up my art studio upstairs! Just need to get the waterbed broken down and I can start hanging up pictures. Have my table set up and shelving unit for all my art supplies I'm so excited!

I heard this from someone today and it is so so so so true! If I didn't forgive my abusers man would I being stinging like crazy right now! I got that off of me and put it where it belongs.....back on them! I feel lighter. Not that I condone what they did but not holding a grudge or heavy burdens feels great!

Today is my moms birthday and it's rainy and gloomy to top it off. I feel down in the dumps. I miss her so much. Happy Birthday Mom......RIP! I love you!
